Online therapy in English across the UK and Europe
Online therapy in English can be a practical way to begin or continue therapy when you travel, live abroad or cannot easily reach a suitable therapist nearby. A screen changes the setting, but the relationship can still feel warm and direct.
I offer person-centred online therapy for adults and couples across the UK and Europe. Before we begin, I will confirm that I can work with you in your location and that video sessions are a suitable option. You will need a private place where you can speak without being overheard.

What online therapy in English can offer
- therapy in English when suitable local options are limited
- continuity if you travel or live between countries
- access without commuting or navigating an unfamiliar city
- the comfort of joining from your own environment
- greater flexibility for mobility, health, caring or work responsibilities
- individual or couples therapy across different locations.
Connection across the screen
It is reasonable to wonder whether online therapy will feel real. It may feel slightly odd at first. For many people, the screen becomes less noticeable as the conversation develops. What matters most is how we meet: with attention, warmth, honesty and enough safety to move at your pace.
You do not need a perfect office, flattering lighting or an impressive bookcase. You need a reasonably private space, a stable connection and a device that lets us see and hear each other.
How sessions work
Before the first session, we agree the platform and practical arrangements. It helps to use the same quiet space each week where possible. Headphones can improve privacy, and it is useful to have a plan for interruptions or a temporary connection failure.
For couples work, both partners need to be able to participate safely and without being overheard. Depending on your circumstances, you may join from the same room or from separate locations after discussing what is most appropriate.
Where online therapy is available
I advertise online therapy across the UK and Europe. Rules and insurance arrangements can vary by location, so please include the country you will normally be in during sessions. I will confirm suitability before we arrange the initial meeting.
What we can work on
Online sessions are available for the same broad areas as in-person therapy, including anxiety, low mood, shame, relationships, identity, addiction, recovery, families affected by addiction, life transitions and couples work.
Sessions and fees
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly. Individual therapy costs €70, couples therapy costs €100, and the initial session is €30 for either format. Prices include IVA. See the fees page for full details.

Frequently asked questions
Will online therapy feel less personal?
It can feel unfamiliar at first, but a meaningful therapeutic relationship can develop online. We can talk openly about anything that makes the format feel awkward or distant.
What happens if the connection fails?
We agree a simple backup plan before beginning, including how long to wait and how we will reconnect.
